View Online There's one subject I've been obsessed with my whole life. It's learning how to learn. Maybe I'm trying to overcompensate because I wasn't a great student, but I've always been curious about how someone can become an expert in the shortest time possible. Is it possible to do it faster than Gladwell's 10,000-hour rule? This led me down a rabbit hole, where I've read The Art of Learning, Robert Green's Mastery, The Talent Code, Bounce, Peak, Ultralearning, and many other biographies. And, of course, I've experimented with the concepts in my own life. Many concepts exist, such as deliberate practice, fast feedback loops, and the 80/20 rule. But I think one concept reigns supreme, especially in Crypto. Have you ever seen one of those simultaneous exhibitions in Chess? It's where one expert plays multiple games at the same time. Some Grandmasters can play and even beat over 70+ people at once. I always wondered how they kept track of all 50 games in their heads. Later, I found out that it was pretty much impossible. Instead, they use pattern recognition. A newbie has to "think" through each position. A Chess master has seen similar positions thousands of times and knows the best response. "Pattern recognition makes the difference between an expert and a novice." – Malcolm Gladwell. In the book the New Market Wizards, Linda Bradford Raschke shares that pattern recognition is her edge in trading In Crypto, certain patterns happen over in over. - Recognizing a Potential Rug Pull—The team is anonymous and without a track record. They're launching the token before the protocol goes live. There aren't any decent partnerships or investors vouching for them. The only people talking about them are the garbage-tier influencers.
- Recognizing a Potential Gem Protocol—It's riding the wave of a hot narrative. It's launching on a pumping chain/ecosystem. The metrics (users, TVL) are rising across the board. There are several hot catalysts on the roadmap. You're starting to see a cult-like community build on Twitter and Discord. The team/founder knows how to capture attention.
Think about every question you have in Crypto. What should you buy? When should you sell? How do you identify a hot narrative before it forms? It all boils down to pattern recognition. This is why people joke that it takes 3 cycles to make it. You're getting wrecked in your 1st two cycles because you haven't built enough pattern recognition yet. Unfortunately, the main way of learning pattern recognition is through experience. But that takes a ton of time, and mistakes can cost thousands. So if you're feeling behind this cycle, it's not your fault. The space has grown far too big, and there's too many untrustworthy people out there. If you're a normal guy with a job and family, you don't have time to spend thousands of hours learning about Crypto. Yet, you shouldn't miss out on one of the greatest investing opportunities of our generation. My team and I have spent thousands of hours in the trenches over the past few years, and we've distilled everything we've learned into a structured system. I don't rely on luck. I don't spray and pray into high-risk tokens. I believe in being systematic and taking a level-headed approach to this space. With winners and losers, there are patterns. Accumulating more patterns will increase your chances of earning more and doing it faster (making it this cycle rather than waiting 4 years from now years from now). And I've distilled everything I know into my program Double Your DeFi. The best way to learn is through 1st hand experience. But if you're short on time (everyone is since the bull market's here), the second best way is through someone else's experience. Leverage our expertise and gain an unfair advantage this cycle. The goal is to transform you into someone who can become confident in their analysis and picks. > Learn how to identify narratives and trends before they're hot. > Learn which narratives I'll focus on and how I'll play this cycle. > Get no b.s. answers to whatever questions you have. > Level up with a community of level-headed people. You're getting networking on a silver platter. > Don't just learn how to buy hot projects. Nothing's guaranteed, so learn when to cut your losses and get out if it's a loser. > Don't just learn theory. Watch us as we research in real time. This is how you go from theory to action. Stop feeling overwhelmed and start focusing. By the end of May, you can learn the 80/20 of the 80/20 and be positioned for the rest of the bull market. I've already made all the mistakes in Crypto - I'll show you how to avoid them. And you'll get specific, actionable insights along the way. Until next time, Edgy p.s. Double Your DeFi is limited to 100 students, and there are roughly 24 spots left. If you're interested in joining, you should enroll now before we're sold out. This is the final Double Your DeFi cohort that we'll be doing. p.p.s. If you're on the fence, hear from people who have taken the program before. We have around 70+ testimonials from previous students. You can read/watch videos here. By the way, I'll send a few more emails about the Double Your DeFi program over the next few days. If you're not interested in receiving any emails about the course (but want to keep receiving our normal weekly news emails), click here to opt out. I know the program's not for everyone, and I want to respect your inbox. |
