[Messari Governance] [Gitcoin DAO] Comprehensive Treasury Management Strategy for Gitcoin - Gitcoin's 2024 Strategy: V1. This proposal presents the Gitcoin Foundation treasury management strategy to achieve $50 million for financial sustainability. The plan includes executing strategic swaps across organizational wallets, leveraging funds with swaps and other mechanisms, proposing yield-generation strategies with partners, and forming a Gitcoin Treasury Management Committee (GTMC) to oversee these efforts. With a current treasury of approximately $5 million and substantial GTC holdings, the goal is to boost stablecoin reserves to $50 million to ensure resilience against market downturns.

[Messari Key Developments] [EigenLayer] EigenLayer Mainnet Launch. EigenLayer has announced the mainnet launch of EigenLayer and EigenDA. Restakers can now delegate their stake to an operator of their choice and operators should register with EigenLayer and opt into running AVSs with the protocol, starting with EigenDA in beta. The mainnet launch initially excludes in-protocol payments from AVSs to operators and slashing. The team plans to introduce these features later in the year as the EigenLayer marketplace develops and stabilizes. Restakers need to delegate their entire stake to an operator opted into their chosen AVS, and operators are subject to selection based on delegated stake size.
