| The power of tomorrow, tokenized. Uranium.io is the world's first platform for trading uranium, powered by Tezos. ⚡️ Unlike gold or silver, uranium's market has high barriers to entry, with minimum order sizes of millions of dollars and thousands of lbs. Tokenized uranium lowers these barriers, making ownership accessible without complex storage. Uranium, the asset powering the AI revolution, is now widely accessible. 🌍 Learn more at https://uranium.io/ | The Case for Verifiable Inference on EigenLayer | By: Sam Ruskin While the Crypto x AI market looks bleak at the moment, development has not slowed down. Verifiable inference is becoming essential as AI models and agents are increasingly integrated into systems, raising concerns over confirming whether decisions are genuinely made by AI, if inference is fairly distributed, or if outcomes are unbiased. EigenLayer has proposed a solution – to verify inference using smart contracts. | Source: EigenLayer Blog Eigen's approach utilizes Autonomous Verifiable Services (AVS) to address these challenges. AVS operators are incentivized to deliver accurate outputs because they risk slashing if they fail, making their services inherently verifiable. Agents can integrate with AVSs to validate their inferences, avoiding the high memory requirements and costs associated with onchain computation. Verifying AI decisions onchain via smart contracts holds agents and models accountable for their assumptions and inferences. Beyond verifiable inference, Eigen is working with AVSs on several tools for agents to utilize. Opacity Network is working with Eigen to leverage zkTLS to tap into Web2 data and bring it onchain, opening the door for a blended onchain/offchain economy. EigenDA offers agents a way to offload and recall memory to stay lean on costs and storage. With these tools, agents can access offchain data and services with cryptographic guarantees regarding data integrity and origin. This approach enables verifiable AI decision-making in decentralized systems, preserving inference integrity and enabling bias detection without incurring prohibitive onchain processing and storage costs. Eigenlayer is well-positioned to lead this integration. | |
